Lovely little gem of a book which poetically describes life. Not just in wartime and post-wartime Vietnam, but people's emotions and reactions to life in general as well.
I finished it in about 2 hours and it still managed to colour the entire day for me. Also, I really want to buy an Ao Dài, a traditional Vietnamese dress, now SO badly!
