Review

Lovely book, I laughed out loud several times at the precious Mr. Doolittle and egocentric Mr. Higgins, the latter being just the type of man whom I can't stand one bit, yet secretly hoping he's going to fall madly in love with me anyways.
Even though I didn't find evidence of it anywhere in the book, I did have the feeling it was an abridged version, because the story takes such big leaps in between. I suppose the whole training/educating process of Eliza becomes more interesting to follow in the form of song in the musical adaptation.
